UEFA Europa Conference League 2023-2024: Latest News, Stats, and Information

Introduction

The UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) is a newly established club competition created by UEFA, the governing body of European football. The inaugural season of the UECL will take place during the 2021-2022 football season, and the competition will serve as the third-tier European club competition, behind the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.

Format

The format of the UECL is similar to that of the UEFA Europa League. The competition will feature a group stage, followed by a knockout stage. The group stage will consist of eight groups of four teams, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.

A total of 32 teams will participate in the inaugural season of the UECL. The teams will be drawn from the following countries:
